Officer Descriptions (taken from the Jax Bears Bylaws):

• The President will preside over all membership meetings and Board Meetings. The President shall be the executive officer and shall have the duty to carry out the policies and decisions of the membership.

• The Vice-President will, in the absence if the President, serve in that capacity. The Vice-President will also serve as parliamentarian and perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Board.

• The Secretary shall keep and preserve all records and minutes of the meetings of the Membership and Board; shall assume the responsibilities of ledger roll call and determine quorum if needed; shall keep a file of general correspondence pertaining to the organization.

• The Treasurer shall keep accurate and complete records of the funds and accounts of this organization; shall collect all dues and maintain a record thereof.
